CVSAR kept busy in the Bugaboos
Saturday, July 12 was a busy day for rescues in the Bugaboos.
Early in the afternoon Columbia Valley Search and Rescue (CVSAR) was tasked for an injured climber at the bottom of the Bugaboo-Snowpatch col.
A team of rescuers responded and transported the injured person to higher medical care, with the help of Glacier Helicopters Invermere.
Not long after, a second call came in for an S.O.S activation at Applebee Dome. A team responded and verified it was a false activation, Columbia Valley Search and Rescue reported on social media.
The Bugaboo-Snowpatch col continues to deteriorate. Read about the conditions.
