East Side Water Quality Advisory rescinded
The Water Quality Advisory that had been in effect since July 1 due to a watermain repair in Timber Ridge has been rescinded (and regular water consumption can resume).
The Water Quality Advisory for much of the East Side Water System, due to turbidity within the system, included customers in the following areas: Baltac, Hilltop, Scenic, Lake Drive, Highway Drive, Stoddart, Akiskinook areas and all of Windermere.
The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) this morning said the advisory has been rescinded and regular water consumption can resume.
With that, there are no further Water Quality Advisories in effect on RDEK water systems at this time.
