The Fairmont Hot Springs annual community clean-up hosted by the Fairmont District Lions Club and the Columbia Lake Stewardship Society is taking place on April 25.

The groups encourage everyone to spread the word and come lend a hand if they’re able.

Volunteers are needed to help pick up garbage along the roadside, so the more people we have out in the ditches, the better.

The Lions may also need some assistance with the BBQ afterward, so extra help there would be appreciated.

Additionally, if anyone knows someone with a truck who could drive along the route collecting filled garbage bags and transporting them to the dump, that support would be especially helpful.
