Highway 93 still closed at Radium
Highway 93 in Kootenay National Park, in the canyon leading to Radium Hot Springs, was closed Feb. 18 due to a rockslide.
DriveBC reports today (Feb. 19) the highway remains closed for clean-up with no local detour available.
Alternate routes to the Columbia Valley and East Kootenay are available via Highway 1 east to Golden and south on Highway 95 or through Crowsnest Pass/Highway 3.
The Radium Hot Springs pools also remain closed until the highway reopens.
