At 12:55 a.m. February 13, Invermere Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire in Wilmer.

Engine 2287, Tender 2286 and Car 2288 arrived on the scene to find multiple accessory buildings on fire. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the original structures while the primary residence did suffer minor damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The primary residence was released back to the residents.
