They say the economy is heading into the shitter. At least in the States.  It’s like the old politician once said about sleeping beside an elephant.

My stocks and bonds don’t need protecting. I ain’t planning anything for retirement. I have no desire to fly in a plane.

If I’m lucky I’ll be able to scrounge enough for a tank a gas and roll north with the current. Fooling myself that not much has changed on the Columbia.
