It’s time to Kick Off for Relay

By Sheila Tutty

Relay for Life coordinator

Mark Wednesday, May 1 on your calendar and make a point of coming to the Copper Point Golf Club at 6:30 p.m. for a fun-filled community event.

You do not had to be a Relay For Life participant or a cancer survivor to attend. It is a community event open to anyone and everyone.

The Kick Off Party is the start of our fundraising for the Relay for Life.

The evening will consist of a live auction, a silent auction, and we even have an auction just for the children.  Not to mention, tasty appies complements of Copper Point.

There are wonderful items to bid on including gift baskets, gift certificates for services and restaurants, gift items, and of course, the ever-popular golf vouchers.

This year we will be auctioning a two-day accommodation package for up to six people at the beautiful Nipika Mountain Resort and a $1,000 travel gift voucher from John Wolfe Construction and a 15 gallon aspen tree courtesy of Peter Pankovitch at Planscape.

If you would like to donate an item to include in our auction, we will gladly accept it.  For more information give me a call at 250-342-9059.

Bring your family, bring your friends, just remember to bring your wallet.
