Renewable Energy Options Workshop for professional sector
A daylong Renewable Energy Options Workshop aimed at the professional sector is coming to Invermere April 15.
The focus is on commercial, institutional and municipal building solutions – energy and building managers, developers, community planners and administrators, builders in the commercial sector will learn about how renewable energy can save them money and add value to projects.
Please note: This is not a general audience or residential sector workshop.
Presentations will be made on:
Biomass district heating;
Solar Energy;
Geothermal;
Community Energy & Emissions Planning.
The workshop is taking place in the Groundswell Community Greenhouse and the day will include a tour of a selection of locally installed systems.
Lunch is included and the cost is very reasonable at $20 per person.
Wood Waste to Rural Heat is hosting the workshop and Imagine Invermere has sponsored the lunch.
