Man found dead near Field
Golden RCMP and BC Coroners Service report that a deceased man was discovered near Field this past Sunday.
On Sunday, October 22, at 11:59 a.m., Golden RCMP received a report of a deceased male found in a vehicle on Emerald Lake Road, northwest of Field.
Golden RCMP officers and the BC Coroners Services attended the scene approximately five km up Emerald Lake Road and located a 2018 silver Hyundai Elantra, with a lone deceased male inside the vehicle.
As of Tuesday October 24, RCMP investigators and the BC Coroners Services have determined that the 52-year-old News Brunswick mans’ death is being classified as non-criminal in nature.
Golden RCMP continues to assist the BC Coroners Services with their investigation into the man’s death.
