Golden RCMP is investigating after a male was found dead in the community Monday morning.

On the morning of November 6, emergency personnel responded to a male found deceased under the North Bridge in downtown Golden.

The RCMP E Division Serious Crime Unit has been deployed to the area and is investigating. Police are trying to identify the male.

There are no public safety concerns at this time, reported Cpl. James Grandy from BC RCMP Communication Services
