Trans-Canada partly opened near Field
Just in time for the weekend, traffic pressure at Radium Hot Springs and along Highway 93 in Kootenay National Park and Highway 95 to Golden is being relieved as a single lane has been opened on the Trans-Canada Highway following a major rock slide Tuesday (Oct. 25) that closed it.
DriveBC reports the Trans-Canada is reduced to single lane alternating traffic 16 km west of Field due to rock debris on road.
A local detour with a reduced speed limit is in place. Expect further delays until all lanes are cleared of debris.
