Water main break forcing water shutdown
Update (4:10 p.m. Nov. 18)
Radium Hot Springs Public Works advises that the break in the water line is isolated to a secondary line. This line has been shut down and repairs are ongoing. The main line has not, and will not, be turned off, so supply to the village will not be affected.
Original story: The Village of Radium Hot Springs’ public works department is currently dealing with a water main break on Columbia Avenue (across from Sable Ridge Condos).
In order to repair the main, water valves will need to be shut off this afternoon.
Water supply to most of Radium will be affected during the repair. Your residence may, or may not, be affected by this shutoff.
The village reports it does not yet have an estimate of time needed to repair the break.
An update will be sent as soon as it receives notice from public works.
The village thanks residents for patience as it deals with this issue.
