Watering restrictions in effect for Radium
As of July 1, and until further notice, watering restrictions are in effect for the Village of Radium Hot Springs.
The high volume of water use is presenting a challenge for the water treatment plant, the village reported.
“Please only hand water gardens, shrubs and flower beds. Please do not run sprinklers or fill pools and hot tubs. Your cooperation is appreciated,” said Bruce Zwiers, village Public Works Superintendent.
