Scoring twice, including a winner, and adding three assists earned Peter Godley of the Columbia Valley Rockies this week’s Kootenay International Junior Hockey League’s (KIJHL) Young Guns selection.

Godley generated offence thanks to the chemistry he has with linemates Ashton Sledz and Bryan Kim.

“We had our feet moving and our chemistry has been building throughout the year, along with our power-playclicking, it was just a matter of time before everything came together like it did,” he said. “I was confident with the puck, I wasn’t afraid to shoot – take on guys and it paid off.”

This is Godley’s second Young Guns selection of the season. He leads the Rockies in playoff points with 10 in seven games.
