On Monday night (Dec.9), City of Cranbrook council appointed members to a number of select and standing city committees.

Appointments

As non-voting members, Councillor Wesly Graham and Councillor Lynnette Wray as council representatives to the Advisory Planning Commission;

• Councillor Wayne Stetski as representative of Council to the Cranbrook Public Library Board;
• Councillor Mike Peabody as representative of Council to the Cranbrook History Centre Board;
• Councillor Wayne Stetski as representative of Council to the Community Social Planning Society of Cranbrook and Area;
• Councillor Mike Peabody as representative of Council to the Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce;
• As a non-voting member, Councillor Ron Popoff to the Cranbrook Tourism Society Board;
• Councillor Wayne Stetski to the Ktunaxa Kinbasket Treaty Advisory Committee & appoint Councillor Norma Blissett to the Ktunaxa Kinbasket Treaty Advisory Committee as alternate

All appointments expire at the organizational meeting in December 2025.
