25th annual Open Garden Day July 9

The Cranbrook Garden Club’s 25th annual Open Garden Day is being held Sunday, July 9 at six city and area gardens.

From 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., garden lovers can stroll six beautiful properties, meet the owners and see a huge variety of flora and creativity.

This year gardens belonging to Rock and Melissa Leduc, Doug Lowes, Jenny and David Humphrey, Tim Benson and Eric Fisher, Mike Graziano and the Public Produce Garden (on 18th Avenue N) are available for viewing.

Along with seeing the gardens, there are artisans and crafters displaying and selling wares in several of the gardens.

The Cranbrook Garden Club is also hosting a plant/garden craft sale at 224-14th Ave N from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Contact [email protected] or go to Huckleberry Books and Top Crop Garden and Pet for  tickets, which are $10 per person (to see all the gardens). Tickets include details about each garden and maps showing how to find them.

All proceeds from the tour go to community beautification projects.
