27th Open Garden Day July 13
The Cranbrook Garden’s Club’s 27th annual Open Garden Day returns July 13 with seven beautiful local gardens open for touring and viewing.
Open Garden Day runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, with all proceeds raised going to community beautification.
Tour organizers ask visitors to supervise children under five years of age, especially around ponds and other features, and remind that no animals are allowed in the gardens.
This year’s tour features the following gardeners:
Helena and Bill Barger; Mance and Paul Visentin; Joanne and Steve Weatherall; Chris and Gary Burke; Rick Ferrier and Corrine Holden; Jane Campbell and Layla Ewen; Debbie and Kelly Shaw.
Artisans and crafters will be displaying and selling creations at each garden.
Tickets ($10) are available at Top Crop Pet and Garden, Huckleberry books and Casey’s Greenhouse.
When you purchase your ticket there will be a map to guide you to each garden featured this year.
