About happy hour

1.  On June 20 Happy Hour began. As of June 20, licensed establishments can now offer ‘happy hours’ and adjust their liquor prices throughout the course of the day. This means your local pub can now offer patrons discounted drinks after a long day at work.

2.  To encourage responsible consumption, a minimum price of $3 a drink has been established, based on recommendations from the industry and health advocates.

3.  You don’t need fries with that. Patrons at ‘food-primary’ establishments can now order alcohol without being obligated to purchased food and can also move freely with their beverage from one licensed area to another – such as from the lounge to the restaurant section.
