About new Tourism Event Program

1. Municipalities and regional districts can apply to the Tourism Events Program for permission to allow local hotels, motels and resorts to charge a three per cent MRDT rate.‎

2. Money from this new program will support events that raise awareness nationally and internationally of British Columbia’s natural beauty. ‎
