On the balanced budget and a debt-free B.C.

1.  This week the government announced that the quarterly update shows that we continue to forecast a balanced budget for the next three years.

2. The direct operating debt is on track to be eliminated by 2019-20, which will mark the first time B.C. will have had no direct operating debt in more than 40 years.

3. We’re not going to burden our children with our debt and we’ll be able to look at ways to reduce taxes and invest in programs and services while living within our means.
