On the Rural Dividend Program

1. The government is providing $75-million over three years to help rural B.C. communities invigorate and diversify their economies.
2. This helps us meet our commitment to share the wealth that comes from rural B.C. more fairly with the communities that create it, like ours in the East Kootenay.
3. Applications for the first year for funding will be accepted from April 4 to May 31. Application information can be found at www.gov.bc.ca/ruraldividend.
