8.5 tons of books moved

Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale opens today for members only and Thursday to Sunday for everyone else!

The books have arrived!

Sunrise Rotarians, Dacota transport driver John and Friends of the Library volunteers moved 8.5 tons of books on Saturday in preparation for the annual Book Sale. You will find a book or 10 to suit everyone’s reading palate: Children’s easy reading, Language books, history, fiction and non-fiction, antique books, mystery, cooking, trades, audio/visual, newer releases,  the famous 25 cent table and much more.

The sale starts with members only on Wednesday, Sept. 26 and you can purchase your membership at the door. Thursday to Sunday is open to the public and Sunday is the bag sale 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. where you buy a book bag for $5 and stuff as many items in it as you can. New parents, find the perfect book to read to baby at a much reduced price and help the Friends of the Library support Cranbrook Public Library.

Books waiting for new owners and readers.
