A hunger to help out
Two of our dedicated Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies board members, Murray Knipfel and Sean Campbell, with the amazing Nancy Lemire from The Salvation Army – Cranbrook. All of the donations from Our Hometown for Hunger event, over $4,000 and counting, will grow the East Kootenay Community Credit Union – EKC endowment fund, which provides an annual grant (every year, forever!) to the local Salvation Army food programs.
The event was held at Denham Ford in Cranbrook on August 15.
