A quick note to Bob Whetham

I just learned a short time ago that City of Cranbrook councilor Bob Whetham suffered a heart attack June 25.
Thankfully he is now at home recovering.
Bob is a local and regional treasure. He is a veritable fountain of knowledge, which he applied to such good measure while serving as the chief planner for the Regional District of East Kootenay for so many years.
Since he retired from public service, he’s been doing nothing but public service, currently finishing his first term (in November) as a city councilor.
We wish Bob a full and swift recovery. His leadership is something Cranbrook needs.
Cheers and get well soon Bob
