Accounting firm changes identity

Taylor Adams, Chartered Professional Accountants, recently announced the firm’s rebrand to Apex Accounting, Chartered Professional Accountants.

The rebrand followed the retirement of Trent Taylor, founder of Taylor Adams. As of July 31, Mike Adams (pictured above) —a partner in the firm since 2003—is the sole proprietor.

The firm is looking forward to carrying on a tradition of providing professional, accurate, accessible service.

“Except for our name and logo, nothing else has changed,” said Adams, CPA, CA, Proprietor of Apex Accounting. “Our firm’s structure remains the same and we are still located at 101A – 9th Avenue South in Cranbrook. I enjoyed working with Trent for the past 15 years and look forward to continuing to deliver the same level of service our clients expect from us. We wish Trent all the best in his retirement.”

Started in 1996, Apex Accounting (formerly Taylor Adams) has become one of the East Kootenay’s leading regional accounting firms. The firm offers a complete range of accounting services. It is also recognized for its sponsorship of the Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo, Leadercast presented by JCI Kootenay, Kootenay ICE Green Bay Committee, the Kootenay Children’s Festival, and many other local charities, not-for-profits and events.
