East Kootenay Addiction Services Society offers two women’s drop in support groups, one on Tuesdays from 12-1:30 p.m. and a second on Fridays from 1:30-3 p.m.

The groups provide a safe place for women to address their addiction and life problems and discover who they are without them.

They are a place where you can learn to reach out and acknowledge who you are at this moment, knowing you are in a constant state of change. These groups don’t replace therapy, nor do we straighten out the lives of others, but it offers compassion and empathy and a place to share your feeling honestly without judgment toward growth and healing.

We recognize that the path to recovery is individual but that we are not alone during the journey.
