Aqueduct Foundation donation helps School Lunch Program
Cranbrook schools have received a generous boost to their school lunch program thanks to a recent donation.
On behalf of School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay), Secretary Treasurer Nick Taylor accepted a $5,000 contribution from the Aqueduct Foundation, on behalf of the Rick and Marg Jensen Family Foundation.
The funds will be directed to the school lunch program in Cranbrook, ensuring that more students have access to healthy and nutritious meals during the school day.
Mr. Taylor expressed gratitude for the donation, noting that community partnerships such as this one play an important role in supporting students’ well-being and success in school.
The School District extends its sincere thanks to the Rick and Marg Jensen Family Foundation for their generous support.
