Leading the first lecture in this series, ‘Black Holes – the Deepest Darkness and the Overpowering Light,’ is Dr. Ben Tippett, Astronomy and Physics Instructor in the Department of Math and Sciences at College of the Rockies. Dr. Tippett is also the creator of the podcast, “The Titanium Physicist.”
In this talk, Dr. Tippett will explain their history, the paradoxes of their existence, the mysteries they contain inside of their cores, and the physical evidence we have that they really and truly exist. This promises to be an entertaining and educational experience!
The library’s hours are:
10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Please note the library will be closed from Saturday, December 23 through to Tuesday, December 26. We will be back open on Wednesday, December 27.
