Key City Theatre is excited to announce auditions and two free audition workshops for its upcoming production of Oliver! The Musical, directed by Brenda Burley (Addams Family, Chicago, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar etc).

This beloved musical brings Charles Dickens’ classic tale to life with unforgettable songs, bold characters, and heartfelt moments.

The production will open with a special performance on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025, and continue its run January 9–11 and 15–17, 2026 at Key City Theatre.

Auditions by Appointment Only

Auditions are open to performers ages 8 and up, with a wide range of roles for children, teens, and adults. All audition appointments, forms, and information are available online at: keycitytheatre.com/oliver

Audition Dates:

• Sunday, May 25;
• Monday, May 26;
• Thursday, May 29.

Auditions will include singing, acting, and light movement. Please dress comfortably and come prepared to show us your energy, character, and creativity.

Key City Theatre encourages diversity and welcomes performers of all identities, backgrounds, and abilities to audition. No previous experience is necessary.

Free Pre-Audition Workshops

To support performers of all ages, Key City Theatre is offering two free audition workshops:

Youth Workshop (Ages 8–15) Date: Tuesday April 29.

This fun and encouraging session introduces young performers to musical theatre basics in a relaxed setting.

Teen & Adult Workshop (Ages 15 and up) – Date: Monday, April 28.

A focused session designed to help participants prepare their audition material with confidence.

Both workshops are free, but registration is required. Space is limited.
