City of Cranbrook Mayor and council and the Province of BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) are approving all licensed premises within the city in good standing to open at 5 a.m. MT on Sunday, February 22, for the Canada/US Olympic Men’s Hockey gold medal game being televised from Italy.

The LCRB had a streamlined process in place to offer extension of hours for the gold medal game, given the success and excitement around Team Canada making it to the finals.

The province just offered a new opportunity to licensees for this early gold medal game we are all excited to see.

Puck drops at 6:10 a.m. MT. Go Canada Go!
