Cranbrook Bucks General Manager and Head Coach Ryan Donald has been named the BC Hockey League’s (BCHL) Joe Tennant Memorial Trophy for Coach of the Year.

Donald has been the Bucks bench boss since their inaugural season in the 2021 pod year.

This has been the Bucks’ second full season in the BCHL, and Donald led the team to a 36-14-1-3 and second in the BCHL’s Interior Conference.

This past season, Donald coached his 100th game, and signed a six-year extension with the Bucks.
