The sky over Cranbrook’s Moir Park lit up multi-colour soon after the sun went down July 1 in celebration of Canada’s 147th birthday.

Thanks to a committed and successful campaign run by Cranbrook’s Connect Church, the biggest Canada Day fireworks display in years was held Tuesday night, capping off a day of family activities.
