The Canadian Disaster Animal Response Team (CDART) East Kootenay Branch is holding its inaugural Volunteer and Public Information Meeting Wednesday, April 13 at 6 p.m. at the ABC Country Restaurant in Cranbrook.

Volunteers and anyone else who is interested in learning more about this new group, dedicated to rescuing and providing temporary shelter to domestic animals during emergency disaster evacuations, is welcome to attend
