Chronic Wasting Disease info session Feb. 28

As you may have heard, there are two confirmed cases of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) detected in deer in Region 4 East Kootenay.

Backcountry Hunters and Anglers are hosting an information session featuring Provincial Wildlife Health Biologist Cait Nelson.

Come join us Wednesday, February 28, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Heritage Inn Cranbrook.

This Pint Night will be an information session surrounding CWD and the recent cases detected in the area.

Our guest speaker will be Wildlife Health Biologist, Cait Nelson (BC Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship). The presentation will cover a range of topics surrounding CWD. Following the presentation there will be a Q&A.

The event is open to all – members and non-members. There will be a table set up for membership signups and renewals. We will also be drawing a prize winner from new and renewing members, so be sure to bring a friend.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please Note: There will be a ‘cash only’ bar set up so if you would like a drink, please be sure to bring cash.
