Effective Monday, May 2, the City of Cranbrook will ease all load restrictions on municipal roads, unless otherwise signed and indicated.

The city is easing restrictions due to improved road strength following similar measures undertaken by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

All drivers and equipment operators are asked to obey load restriction signage on some streets that will continue to be restricted due to low strength or poor condition.
