City meeting with industry stakeholders
The City of Cranbrook’s Department of Infrastructure, Planning & Delivery (IPD) is responsible for developing and managing the projects that renew and replace the city’s infrastructure. IPD is inviting industry stakeholders to an information session about the city’s proposed 2017 Capital Works Program.
As increases in infrastructure investment occur in the city, there is a need to streamline and improve the structure and efficiency of these projects. Furthermore, the city has a strong desire to diversify the opportunities available to industry members through the various professional and construction services essential to the delivery of efficient and effective projects within the community. The desired result: a clear path that ensures greater success for all project partners and the citizens of Cranbrook.
At the information session, the IPD Department will provide an overview of the many opportunities that will be available to consultants, civil contractors, and material suppliers to participate in upcoming projects. The session will also address updated delivery processes and shared expectations for these projects.
Interested parties are invited to: Manual Training School, (202 – Kootenay Street North) Tuesday, January 10 at 2 p.m.
This event is designed for industry stakeholders (consultants, contractors and material suppliers) and not for the general public.
