Snow season is almost here—let’s keep garbage and recycling pickup running smoothly all winter long!

When setting out your carts, make sure they’re not on top of windrows or behind snow piles. Face the arrows toward the street, keep the wheels against the curb or windrow, and leave about one metre (three feet) of space from cars, poles, or hydrants.

And one more thing—put your carts out by 7:30 a.m. on collection day, not the night before. It helps our snow crews clear the streets and keeps your bins from taking a tumble in the night.
