Conservative leadership hopeful in Cranbrook Jan. 8
Columbia River-Revelstoke MLA Scott McInnis is inviting riding residents to meet with Conservative Party of B.C. leadership hopeful Yuri Fulmer on Jan. 8.
Yuri Leith Fulmer’s Wikipedia page notes he is an Australian-born Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist based in Vancouver. He is the chair of Fulmer & Company, global chair of United Way Worldwide, and chancellor of Capilano University.
“It’s important that residents of Columbia River-Revelstoke get a chance to meet with all leadership candidates during the campaign as I believe the victor will be the next Premier of B.C. I will be publicly supporting an individual who shows strong leadership and will be presenting a bright vision for B.C.,” McInnis said.
“Additionally, a candidate must show an understanding of our unique challenges in rural B.C.”
McInnis and Fulmer will be at Fire Hall Kitchen and Tap in Cranbrook on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.
