Council gets 2019 legislating underway tonight
City of Cranbrook council is holding its first regular meeting of 2019 this evening at city hall at 6 p.m.
City council meetings are generally held on the first and third Monday of each month but please check the schedule as statutory holidays, Union of BC Municipalities meetings etc. forces date changes in scheduling.
Here is a full schedule of regular council meetings for the year:
Jan. 7 and 21
Feb. 4 and 25
March 11 and 25
April 8 and 29
May 13 and 27
June 10 and 24
July 15 (only one meeting scheduled)
There are no regular meetings of council scheduled for August
Sept. 9 (only one meeting scheduled)
Oct. 7 and 28
Nov. 4 and 25
Dec. 9 (only one meeting scheduled)
