A Boil Water Notice remains in effect (November 22) for all water customers on the City of Cranbrook’s water system until further notice.

Both the Interior Health Authority (IHA) and the City of Cranbrook recommend that everyone especially children, the elderly, those with weakened immune systems, or anyone who wishes additional protection use boiled water or a safe alternative for drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making beverages or ice or brushing teeth.

Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use.

The city says it will continue to monitor water quality closely and provide regular updates until such time as all water tests come back clear and this advisory may be lifted.
