Cranbrook juniors head to Worlds

Two Cranbrook youths are headed for the Wake Surf World Championships this week.

Ryder Duczek and Montana Rouselle will be representing the East Kootenay and Canada on the world stage during the Competitive Wake Surfing Association World Championships starting Thursday.

The top surfers in the world will be competing in the event and both surfers have been training for weeks.

Also competing in the Junior division is Jaffray’s Cassidy Boehm. The Worlds kick off Thursday morning at Kelowna Park Beach and wrap up Saturday night.  Earlier this summer, both wake-surfers won medals at the Canadian Nationals.
