Cranbrook Library needs magazine sponsors

The Friends of Cranbrook Public Library is launching its annual “Adopt a Magazine” Campaign and inviting the community to sponsor magazine subscriptions for the upcoming year.

Magazines are a vital link to the outside world, and this campaign ensures they stay free and accessible to everyone.

Since subscription costs are a yearly expense, your donation offers a direct way to keep favorites like PeopleRunner’s World, Macleans, Time, and Readers Digest on our shelves for all members of the community to enjoy.

Sponsorships range from $25 to $200 for a one-year adoption. Your gift covers the subscription cost completely.  Businesses, book clubs, non profits, families and community members are all encouraged to adopt a magazine.

As a thank you, sponsors receive:

  • A charitable tax receipt.
  • Year-long recognition with a personalized bookplate in library.
  • Mentions on the library’s website and social media.

Chief Librarian Ursula Brigl said, “Our magazine section is a vital link to the outside world. This campaign makes sure that the most current information is here, free for everyone. We rely heavily on the generosity of our Cranbrook community to make this happen.”
