Cranbrook RCMP investigating theft of meat

Cranbrook RCMP is currently investigating after a substantial amount of meat was stolen from a freezer.

On December 16, police received a call from a person living in the 600 block of 17th Avenue N. The caller advised that overnight two unknown males had entered her carport and taken approximately $1,000 worth of meat from her freezer.

“Surveillance video in the area indicated there were at least two suspects in this theft,” said Cst. Katie Forgeron of Cranbrook RCMP.

RCMP is asking anyone with information about this theft to contact the office at 250-489-3471.
