The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week (from 6 a.m.) Nov. 28 to 6 a.m., Dec 5.

Police handled 154 calls for service throughout this week.

Among the calls police handled…

Three impaired driving: two 90 Day IRP issued and 30 day impound of vehicle; one 24 hour suspension.

One Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Four Motor Vehicle Collisions: all minor in nature.

Cranbrook RCMP continues to be on the lookout for impaired drivers this Holiday Season and urges the public to be vigilant in reporting suspected impaired drivers to police. The police often can intercept a suspicious vehicle within minutes of the report.

Eight Mental Health Act: None apprehended.

Three assault: two common assault and one assault police officer.

Nine thefts: three shoplifting/three theft from vehicle/three theft under $5,000.

Three break and enters: one to a business and two residential.

Seven Property Damage/Mischief.

13 False Alarms/False 911.

Four Intoxicated In a Public Place.

Nine Causing a Disturbance/Breach of Peace.

Five harassing communications.
