Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week (from 6 a.m.) April 24 to 6 a.m., May 1.
Police handled 175 calls for service throughout this week.
Among the calls police handled…
Five collisions – all in town including one hit and run.
One impaired driver for a non-injury collision – Criminal Charges.
Two Mental Health Act calls – nine apprehended / one assist East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
Nine assault complaints: two domestic in nature and one assault of a police officer.
Seven thefts reported including: two shoplifting; one theft from motor vehicle; two bikes stolen.
Two break and enter to residence reports.
Two reports of property damage.
One drug seizure – marijuana.
18 false alarms/ false 911 complaints.
