Cranbrook’s Rotary Park was filled with people paying their respects to and honouring all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for Canada’s freedoms and way of life, as well as to those currently serving in every facet of public safety and protection Nov. 11.

Remembrance Day gatherings, no matter where held, serve as a poignant glimpse into the heart and soul of a community.

Everyone who participates in or attends Remembrance Day ceremonies is there for the same reason – to remember and to respect and to say thank you.
