Cranbrook Search and Rescue (SAR) members are mourning the loss of a valuable team member – search dog Griffin.

Cranbrook SAR reported on social media: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of search dog Griffin. Griffin was nine-years-old and had been a part of our team for eight years. He passed away at the veterinary hospital while being treated for unknown issues.

“We would like to thank Griff for his dedicated years of service and extend our condolences to Greg and his family. You will be missed.”
