Deep well online beginning today
Work may cause some water discolouration
The City of Cranbrook’s Public Works Utilities team will be working to bring the Confederation Park Well #4 online beginning this morning (May 9).
The well will be operated from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the next week then will be operating for a minimum of eight hours per day going forward.
Some water users in parts of the city may notice dirty water periodically over the next week as work is completed. It is important to know that this discolouration is not a public health concern. If you find that your water is dirty, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear.
