On June 25, 2012 after three years together, Jared Johnson knelt down on one knee and asked Samantha Chute to marry him- to which she responded with an enthusiastic “Yes!”.

So far, their life together has been full of adventure, including a hike to the top of Fisher Peak only two weeks after their engagement where they stood on top of the world together, with many more adventures to be had in the future.

Samantha’s parents are Tim Chute and Denise Wiens of Hanna, Alberta. Jared’s parents are Ken Cooper and Marie Danielle (deceased) of Spillimacheen, British Columbia and Roberta and Glen Rodgers of Fort Steele, British Columbia.
