Letter to the Editor

OK, OK … enough with the Kootenay ICE blather, already.

Naturally, we classy Kootenayites wish the ICE well with their future, but really, who of us could give a darn about them anymore other than when looking in the rear-view mirror of nostalgia?

Is it any wonder why, for the most part, folks have lost interest in them (and stayed away from their games) when we hockey fans all know that few things suck worse than paying decent money to see your team LOSE … game after game after game?

Here’s a wry parting toast to their recent-but-now-seasons-long crushing free-fall:

1. Q) What do the ICE and the TITANIC have in common?
2. A) They both looked good … until they hit the ice.

Oh well …
